Space Research Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences jointly with the Flemish Institute for Technological research and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation are organizing an international conference-workshop “Development of global agricultural monitoring using remote sensing automated methods in support of GEOGLAM initiative”.

The international conference-workshop is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation under the Agreement from the 18th of November, 2015, №14.616.21.0063 «Development of automated methods and information technologies for global satellite-based agricultural monitoring in support of GEOGLAM initiative», unique project ID - RFMEFI61615X0063.

Capabilities and features of the global agricultural satellite monitoring system Vega-Geoglam (vega.geoglam.ru) will be demonstrated. The system is developed under the above-mentioned Agreement.

To ensure the participation of the wide range of Russian and foreign experts a video broadcast will be organized.
